What are lip enhancements?

Lip enhancements are cosmetic procedures that can give you more defined lips, fuller, and plumper.

How long does the treatment take?

Treatments normally last approximately half an hour. Fifteen minutes to numb the area and ten minutes for the treatment.

How long will they last?

For optimal results, initial filler treatments are spaced four to six weeks apart. A second treatment within six weeks helps the body adjust and improves filler resilience. Consistently using the same product for the first three or four treatments is advised.

Will I see results immediately?

YES! With dermal fillers you will see results straight away as the hyaluronic acid filler plumps up the tissues.

What we use?

Our experience tells us that Epitique provide the best in the industry. It is a lovely soft plumping hyaluronic acid.

What about bruising?

Yes, unfortunately there may be slight bruising and swelling. This can last up to 3 days, but we do recommend being patient for 7 days for all swelling and bruising to subside before seeing the end result.

Lip Filler Aftercare

Taking care of that beautiful new pout!

Avoid applying makeup to the treated area for 24 hours (this is especially important for the lips). If bruising occurs, apply ice to the treated area to help reduce this. If you have had cold sores in the past there is a risk that the needle punctures can cause another eruption (tablets or cream are available to help resolve this).

The swelling may remain for up to a week, the other symptoms usually settle more quickly. After lip enhancing injections, the swelling can persist for a week or more. During this time the lips can look uneven and so it is important to understand that the result immediately after injection will not always be the final result. Hyaluronic filler treatments may last from 6 months up to 12 months, depending on the area treated, age, skin type, lifestyle and muscle activity.

Fillers are broken down through the body's natural processes and there are no permanent effects.

Deposit

For every treatment, we will require a £20 deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable but will be taken off of the final cost of your treatment.

Cancellation

Any cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice or no shows will result in non-refund of your £20 deposit (taken at time of booking).
